We are "young oldies" with wide interests. We came to this property many years ago. 50/50 sharemilkers manage our two farm properties, milking a total of 420 cows. We also grow citrus fruit and breed a small flock of black and coloured sheep. Jim has been a member of Whakatane Lions Club for over 40 years and is also a keen bowler. Kathleen's interests are in genealogy, organic gardening and crafts. Travel is a particular interest. One of our sons lives in England and we have an AFS son who lives in Ohio, USA.

Our Red Barn shop is now leased and houses a gallery with the Prickly Puha Cafe now licensed. Guests can walk to a New Zealand award-winning chef's restaurant. Meals also available at the homestead.
